The course provides a multidisciplinary review and update on the diagnosis and management of patients with breast carcinoma. The presentations will focus on recent diagnostic and therapeutic advances, and emphasize their practical implications. Some of the lectures will include discussion of the results of experimental studies to highlight recent progress in the understanding of breast carcinoma and future directions for its treatment. The course faculty consists of a cadre of experts in the diagnosis and treatment of breast carcinoma from Italy, European Cancer Centers and from Memorial SloanKettering Cancer Center, United States of America.
